When speaking english I’m mixing the tenses especially when I’m in a crowd of people doing presentation its embarracing really, but when writing its better. And when it comes to the words like could, would, should I’m really stragling.
I love this language(English) because its the laguage of nations. At my working place it is the only tool of communication and I’m strugling.
Hi there.
I have a few comments to make.
1 Native speakers make mistakes when they are speaking English too.
2 In some countries, too much emphasis is placed upon grammatical correctness. At the end of the day, the point of your presentation is to communicate your ideas, not to show you are very good at English.
3 Practice(US practise) makes perfect. The more presentations you do, the less nervous you will be and you will make fewer mistakes.
4 As regards specific grammar points such as ‘would’, look at http://www.englishgrammarsecrets.com
Hi!
I’m a French tutoring teacher in English (waohh is that how you would define a one-to-one teacher?).
I’m looking for exercises on -ing clauses as a noun for my 19-year-old student. There are many things on -ing after a verb but no so much on -ing as a noun, a subject, with or without the article such as “the mending of the roof was difficult” or “teaching is interesting” or “her teaching is fascinating”. Could you please help me urgently?
Hello. What you are referring to is often called the ‘Gerund’. You could try putting that into Google.
I have some exercises on the Gerund here

Dear Person,
I’ve been learning English for many years. Unfortunatelly in last five years I didn’t make any progress.Accually I think I forgot a lot because since 2005 I’ve been living in Italy and I don’t speak English at all. I promise myself to do all of your exercises to refresh the grammar and improve my language skills. My question is about spoken English (phone calls). It is very important for me to find the right answer and I think that only native speaker is able to respond correctly. Colleagues from my office when they pick up the phone traduce litteraly one expression from their native language. I will try to explain what I’m intending to clarify with the situation: Rings the phone. My colleague answer and his secretary tells him that there is calling Mr. David from chinese branch office. In these case my colleague usually risponds: Hi David, TELL ME. I don’t think that this is correct. Am I right? What would be the correct answer in these case? Exists any English term in these case? I’m looking forward for your response. Please let me know if I did some errors writting this e-mail.
Kind regards, Grazyna.
PS. Thank you so much for your web sites!
@Grazyna TELL ME is not good English. In fact, it sounds very rude You could open by saying ‘David speaking’ or ‘How are you?’ or ‘How can I help?’ or some similar polite remark.

If you can give me a writing test in English and assess it , I will be glad to know my writing skills and improve it if there is a need to do so.
@Jayashree I only provide free exercises. I don’t have the time or money to do more than that.
hi there,
I’m an English teacher. And I have a very very big problem that is most of my students are not motivated to study English although they’re fond of IT subject. They keep saying English is so hard to understand so they aren’t interested in it. Especially in Grammar, how could I teach them when they aren’t excited? Thanx.
Yours,
Aish
